The Vacationer is built like our best-selling Fortress — but with 6 extra inches of depth for extended mail holds.

This mail safe is designed to store 3–4 weeks of mail. It features:

  • Covered incoming slot (1.75" x  11.5") with pull-down handle
  • ¼” steel shell
  • Reinforced 3/16” recessed doors
  • Designated outgoing mail compartment (3" x 5" x 11.5")
  • ¼” steel flag built to last

Expecting Packages?

Pair the Vacationer with our Slam Lock to securely accept larger deliveries.

With the Slam Lock, interior package space for packages is 10” x 11” x 16” — ideal for high-volume mail and parcel protection.

Meets All USPS Requirements — Here’s How It Works:

  1. The mail carrier pulls down on the handle, revealing the incoming slot at the top (11.5” W x 1.75” H).

  2. Mail drops into the locked compartment — only you have the key.

  3. Outgoing mail: when the handle is pulled down, a separate enclosed outgoing shelf is revealed below the incoming slot.

    • Outgoing mail cannot be locked by postal standards, but it stays out of sight, behind a door.

The Vacationer is pre-drilled on the bottom (4 holes, 6 ¾” apart), designed to fit our Large Posts and Racks. It can also be mounted to existing surfaces.
